Optical Power Meters
Optical Power Meters
The PM1 series of Power Meter are designed for use with an Optical Source for performing optical loss measurements on fiber optic cables. PM1 series are designed for the low budget. It can meet the the basic demand in real testing. With the smaller size and weight, it is easier to take in real testing.. The PM2 series of Power Meter are the advanced version of LPM series. It is more functional and intelligent. Under the situation of laboratory, LANs, WANs and CATV as well as longdistance optical network, the Optical Power Meters, together with Precision Rated Optic's Stabilized Laser Sources, can be used to identify optical fiber, measure optical attenuation, verify continuity and evaluate fiber link transmission quality
Optical Laser Source
Optical Laser Source
The LS series Optical Laser Sources offer excellent stability and portability for accurate fiber optic testing. Single output port provides stable laser power at dual wavelength. The compact unit operates in either continuous wave (CW) mode or modulated mode.
Fusion Splicer
Fusion Splicer
The PRO-730 is a core alignment fusion splicer designed for use within several areas of fiber optic deployment. Whether your application is Premise, OSP, or FTTx splicing with the PRO-730 will get the job done right. The PRO-730 is designed to work with all the popular fiber types and in all weather conditions. The dual axis view and reversible color monitor with control panels on both sides assures splicer efficiency in any work environment.
Fiber Scopes
Fiber Scopes
There are two major types of fiber microscopes available; one is for fiber termination inspection and the other is for inspection of installed connectors on patch panels and hardware devices. The typical magnification level is 200X or 400X for single mode fiber applications.
PON Meter
PON Meter
Precision Rated Optic’s advanced PON-specific power meter, the PON-301, is the flagship of PRO’s test instruments specifically intended for FTTH and FTTP systems. The PON-301 is the ideal tool for FTTH/FTTP service activation and field application troubleshooting. Optimizing network reliability requires that all PON signals be measured all the way through service activation to ensure they meet established standards. The PON-301 offers the following features to address this need:
Optical Attenuator
Optical Attenuator
The OVA digital variable optical attenuator is a compact, portable instrument widely used in fiber link certification and routine maintenance.
Optical Loss Test Sets
Optical Loss Test Sets
Precision Rated Optics has developed optical test kits designed for specific markets within the communications industry.. With new advanced capabilities that make testing simple, PRO Test Kits are the best “go-to” kits for anyone involved in first-line optical fiber cabling installation and verification. Whether you are a fiber technician or contractor, our expertly configured kits contain all the tools necessary to quickly measure loss, power levels and inspect and clean connector end-faces. Features including both SM and MM testing capabilities along with Test Cables and SC, ST, FC and universal adapters in a semi-rigid carrying case make PRO the best fiber test kit on the market.
Visual Fault Locator
Visual Fault Locator
The VFL-1A is a compact but powerful visible light source with an output power up to 8 dBm. The VFL-1A could be used to locate sharp bends and breaks in jacketed or bare fiber within 10km. It could also be used to identify connectors in patch panels or identify fibers during splicing operations.
Optical Fiber Identifier (5 styles)
Optical Fiber Identifier (5 styles)
PRO Optical Fiber Identifiers are rugged, easy-to-use installation and maintenance instruments which identify optical fibers by detecting the optical signals being transmitted through a fiber. By utilizing local detection technology (non-destructive macro-bend detection which does not damage or overstress the fiber), the units eliminate the need to open the fiber at the splice point for identification; eliminating the probability of interrupting service.
OTDR
OTDR
The PRO-OTDR was designed for FTTX applications. It can test the length, fiber loss connector loss and other physical characteristics of fiber. With up to 65534 sampling points, it can locate events on fiber cables precisely. It is really the tool of choice for FTTX application installation and maintenance as well as for fiber R&D and single mode network testing. The PRO-OTDR-SM was designed for the low budget. It can meet the the basic demand in real testing. With the smaller size and weight, it's the optimal units for field testing.
Video Inspection Probe
Video Inspection Probe
The VIP-35 & VIP-25 Inspection Probes were designed to provide our customers with the combination of performance and value in a small device that fits in the user’s hand. With the included complement of tips, the user has the ability to check the quality of both the cable and bulkhead connectors.
Optical Loss Multimeters
Optical Loss Multimeters
The OLM2 series Optical Loss Test Set(Multimeter) combines a power meter and a 3-wavelength laser source, for optical fiber network installation and maintenance. With the large capacity of data storage, it's very convenient for field testing and transfering the test results to PC through USB interface.
Optical Break/Fault Locator
Optical Break/Fault Locator
Pulse Suppressor
Pulse Suppressor
Used in conjunction with PRO Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). Fiber optic pulse suppressors eliminate dead zones. Dead zones occur after a reflective event. The first reflective event where the OTDR plugs into the bulk head , will have a 2 – 5 meter dead zone. Making it impossible to measure loss 2 – 5 meters beyond the event. The use of a pulse suppressor will move the dead zone away from crucial connections and splice points. Providing your trace with accurate test results in areas where loss must be calculated. Having a second pulse suppressor at the end of the cable under test will enable the OTDR to compare back scatter levels before and after the last reflective event.
